I'm a big advocate of ensuring people retain their individuality in organisations so really like the concept of a holobiont. It would be interesting if a study was done (unless it has already?) on how much potential (of humans, the organisation, society etc.) is lost or suppressed as a result of organisational assimilation...
We have a choice to make.
To perceive the self as something less than what we see. Or as more than what we see.
The latter, please. Even with the associated metaphysical angst.
